Welcome to the website of the
autonomous house and culture project Rigaerstraße 94.
The Rigaer 94 was squatted in Summer 1990 as part of the squatting-wave in East Berlin. During negotations between the squatted houses and the state in 1992, rent contracts were made for the Rigaer 94 .
In the next 10 years, a house and culture project developed. An organising space the Kadterschmiede was opened, where there was political events, gigs, parties and Vokü (Peoples Kitchen).
Since Suitbert Beulker bought the house in Novemember 2000 there are contsant eviction attempts, but we're still here!
